Beautiful Wishes

A gathering of beautiful wishes for you - love, health, happiness

"Calla lilies are a symbol of majestic beauty. I chose this flower to represent a pure and simple wish for beauty and peace in our lives… a universal sentiment for so many occasions… birth, marriage, anniversaries, in sympathy and in remembrance. Beautiful wishes are what we send to those we care for and about."

I'm 13 years old and was just diagnosed with SLE or Lupus disease. The lupus hit my kidneys pretty hard but luckily the doctors caught it right in time before any scarring occurrd in my kidneys. I didn't need a kidney transplant but I would take a very long time to recover. My great uncle and aunt got me a calla Willow Tree figure. I don't really understand what it means but I think it means that everyone is praying deeply to God, begging for me to heal. It's working, and they are wishing me well. I will have lupus forever but at least I know I have friends and family who will support and help me along the way.

As our children married I always carried one beautiful white calla. My husband was an artist and did drawings for our memorial stone with a calla. When he died, unexpectely, and rather young I bought this for myself to remember all occasions, happy and sad.  It's perfect. Thanks ever so much for your wonderful insights !

In November 2010 I had a bone marrow transplant. My parents were determined to drive over 800 miles in a snow storm to see me. When they arrived I was really sick from the chemotherapy, bald and had lost almost 20 pounds. The morning after they arrived my father had a heart attack. I was on the 11th floor and he was on the 10th floor of the same hospital! I wasn't allowed off the floor to go and see him and of course he couldn't come up to see me. My poor mother was going from one floor to the other all day. My father recovered and was released almost a week later. They had to leave right after he was discharged so I didn't get to see him other than a quick goodbye. My mom brought me the Courage figurine. It made me cry and smile at the same time and made me feel better. After I got home almost four months later my husband had a little get together with some friends. One of my girlfriends brought me the Beautiful Wishes figurine. I love it! I am going to start my own collection and also give these beautiful pieces to my friends and family!

The Beautiful Wishes Willow Tree figure that I received today made me think of my mother who passed away two days before my birthday when I was four. Her favorite flowers were calla lilies. When she passed away I received her Willow Tree angels and figurines. The young girl holding the calla lilies reminded me of myself when I was younger.

I recieved my first Willow Tree figures in high school, my senior year. I had heart surgery; i was given then Angel of Courage and Angel of the Heart. From there it has continued over the years, from friends to family members who have given them to me. One figure means more to me than the others, Heart of Gold. My senior year of college my brother passed away. My family was given two of these figures; my mom has one and so do I. I have named him Phil for my bother. Two weeks ago I graduated with my masters and my mom gave me Beautiful Wishes. In total I have 16 different figures. Thank you for making and sharing your beautiful talent!

My mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2010. While she was in the recovery center, I wanted her to know that she was surrounded by love and wishes for her health. I had seen the Willow Tree line in the gift shop at her clinic, so when I saw this figurine I just had to give it to her. She liked looking at it every day and having flowers that don't "wilt."

When I was married on April 22, 1950, I carried Calla Lilies. My future sister-in-law caught my bouquet. This year for Christmas she gave me Beautiful Wishes in remembrance of my wedding day sixty years ago. My husband and I are still married and will celebrate sixty one years on April 22, 2011.

I recently retired from my practice as a Clinical Psychologist and was given this lovely figurine by one of my patients.  It was so symbolic of the wishes we both shared for one another at this juncture in our lives and as I embarked upon my new life journey. I will always treasure it as a reflection of the "Beautiful Wishes" we offered to one another at this special moment.

I bought this figurine and the Beautiful Wishes(lily figurine) for my partner's birthday. Our daughter's middle name is Pabi, which is Welsh for Poppy. His eldest daughter's middle name is Lili--quite special, I thought, and he loved that.

This figurine deeply touched me when I saw it a few days ago and I had to have it. Several figurines were offered to me by friends and family and I love them because they are so beautiful and peaceful, always nice to look at and display in our house. But this one I bought myself as a souvenir of my late mother who passed away in May 2010, she loved those flowers who bloomed in her garden when she suddenly died...and the girl looks like my little 3 year old girl, Charlotte, bringing flower to her 'Mamico'! Thank you.

This beautiful figurine was given to me by my special friend and secretary for 15 years, Gina, upon my retirement. We have raised our children together and I have given her some sage advice as mine are 10 years older. Beautiful wishes is her gift to me for our wonderful times together at work. She will always be special and I will always keep up with the tales of her children.

Ahhhh! Just saw this new one and I have to have it!
My only daughter is named Lily. She's 5 years old and loves flowers of all kinds, but lilies are a favorite.
I have a small collection of Willow Tree now and will be adding this one for sure. I might even pass this one down to MY Lily when she gets a little older. How perfect!
