I am an elementary school nurse. A kindergarten student and her grandmother brought me a Willow Tree, Good Health, this morning to thank me for all that I have done for her. This student was born with a birth defect which causes her to still need to wear pull ups and her mother just passed away after battling cancer for several years. She often comes to my office just to talk or sing or whatever else she may need that day to lift her spirits. She is a beautiful little girl with an amazing spirit. This is the first Willow Tree I have ever received. I have bought a few for my mother and my sister, but never for myself. I am so thankful for the artistic simplicity of Good Health. She told me she picked it out herself and it touched me deeply. It will forever be a reminder of the strength that a five year old possessed after all she had been through, and how important a smile or song or silly joke can be in the life a child. I am so thankful for this gift of appreciation.
I was in the hospital with chest pains and not sure what was going to happen. They decided to do a heart cath on me, and I was scared about the results. My daughter came in with a angel of Good Health and we prayed that everything would be ok. It sounds silly but right before they took me down to have the procedure I touched my angel and wispered to God to please let everything to be ok. My results were good; no damage or blockage. I'm not sure if it was good luck or the angel, but to me I think she had sometghing to do with my good results. It is now in a place in my home where i can see her every day and think back to the courage she gave me
I was given the Good Health angel by my dearest friend the last day of my radiation therapy for cancer. I am a cancer survivor and absolutely love Willow Tree angels. I have others and each of them has been given to me and has special meaning.
Thank you for sharing your artistic gift.
