My husband and I were given a very special Christmas gift from our son and daughter-in-law when we were given grandmother and grandfather figurines thus telling us that we are going to be grandparents for the first time.
It was a very special gift and a wonderful way to learn that there is going to be a grandchild in our lives. We are so excited and counting the days.

Our son and daughter-in-law had our first grandchild in Nov. 2009. And we received the grandfather and grandmother figures for Christmas. We couldnt have received a more meaningful gift. They sit on our entertainment center in front of our granddaughter's photo.

My grandfather passed away this past November, and my best friend gave me the Grandfather sculpture in remembrance of him. I can't tell you how much I love my sculpture. It sits on my piano next to my Grandfather's picture, so that I can remember and see him every day. Thank you Susan for your sculptures that bless so many people in this world.

My father moved away from me a few years ago, and as he is very poorly it was very hard for me. When I went to visit him with my partner and children, he gave me some money for my birthday. I brought this figure, I have several pieces of Willow Tree, but every time I see this piece in particular, it gives me such good memories of times together. It always makes me feel in my heart that we aren't as far away from each other as it seems.
