Healing Grace

May a quiet strength bring you grace

This figure is intended to be a healing and hopeful piece to those who are overcoming illness or experiencing grief, and need to draw upon their personal strength.

This piece is about making room for grace. We encounter things everyday that might not, on the surface, seem like blessings; but perhaps if we wait – be patient, hope, trust – they might become our biggest strengths that we can draw upon.

I am 14 years old and my mom is 40 years old. She has recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Raynaud's Syndrome, Cervical disc disease and many other diseases. Most of her diseases have no cures. She acts as though she does not have all of these conditions, but I know on the inside she is in pain. She is in love with the Willow Tree figures, and I know that when I give her the Healing Grace figure she will feel strengthened and have hope for many years to come.

My grandfather passed away recently of lung cancer. He was only 69 years old. We are an extremely tight-knit family, and losing him was like losing a limb. We are missing an extremely important person to us, and are all having a hard time dealing with the grief. My mother especially was having a hard day.

The angel was intended to be a birthday present, however I felt that it suited the situation. It didn't take away the pain but I believe it helped her, even just a little.

Willow Tree, and especially Healing Grace creates emotion that one can relate to.

I am a 30 year old female who is suffering from cancer.
I love to give Willow Tree figures as gifts, but realized that I did not own one myself.
Later that day, a good friend came to visit and brought me Healing Grace,
a welcome and appropriate addition to my home.
Looking at the figure reminds me that we have to have hope.
