"We’ve had lots of requests for a piece that expresses good luck, and this piece is my response. I was inspired by young Celtic dancers, and impressed by the art form; it’s such a unique expression of that culture. Uplifting, so alive, happy… happy-go-lucky!"

I received this as a gift from a friend at a surprise birthday/retirement party in an Italian restaurant. Being of Irish descent, I absolutely loved it and connected to it. As I was opening the next gift, the song on the restaurant music system was Daddy's Little Girl... The song my Dad used to love to sing to his four daughters at every occasion.. He passed away over three years ago and I miss him terribly. He was full of Irish Charm. We've been to that restauant 50 times or more, and that song has never come on. It is usually Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin music..
I am certain my Dad's Irish Charm had something to do with it... Now this beautiful piece which immediately made me think of him can bring a smile to my face every day.
I have been collecting the Willow Tree figures for a number of years. Today I was at a store and turned to see "Irish Charm". I immediately purchased it and brought it home because, strange as it may seem, it reminded me of my son Michael. Michael was a beautiful young man who was married and had dreams of starting a family. He and his wife had been dancing Irish dances in a group before Irish dance became so popular in the U.S. Unfortunately Michael's life was cut short by a car jacker who murdered him. His ashes were scattered over the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland where he and his wife had spent their honeymoon. This figure will always remind me of the joy that Michael brought to us as our only child. His 27 years of living were filled with joy and when I see this charming figure I shall always be reminded of the scriptural verse that says the Lord will turn your mourning into dancing. This figure reminds me that the Lord has indeed done that for me. Thank you for this special blessing to a mother's grieving heart.
This year has been especially hard with my husband's job and financially trying to make ends meet! I collect Willow Tree Figurines and it had been awhile since I last bought one. The minute I saw this Irish Charm I had to have it! As it sits on my night stand it will serve as a reminder to me that Luck will find me everyday if I am willing to look for it and Laughter is the only cure to a struggling soul!
I am not Irish, nor am I a dancer. But this piece will bring back memories for me in years to come. I was crowned Miss Greene then Miss Butler County and both my tiaras have hearts in them. This little girl has a heart in her tiara and I love how she will always be a wonderful memory and reminder of my days as a queen.
I just picked up this one today after seeing it online. It made me think of my father who passed away two years ago. He was full Irish and it just made me smile. I have other ones that also make me think of him. The Hero one does because he was in the Army for 22 years serving his country that he loved very much. Thank you.
