We are opening a SpiritHorse licensed facility, which will be helping special needs children reach their full potential through interaction with horses. SpiritHorse JC Ranch is licensed, and three of us are trained and now preparing for opening one of these centers to meet the needs of special needs kids, those abused and at risk, as well as helping the wounded warriors in south central Missouri.

Charles Fletcher has developed methods with 27 steps, something new in the industry that is making even more of a difference. And it is bringing hope to many disabled children and adults. One in 110 are diagnosed with autism now. It is 1 in 83 in Missouri. His methods using horses have brought 23 severely autistic children half-way to a “non-autistic” rating in only six months. Amazing! This will be published in one of the Journal of Alternative Therapies in the May or June 2011 edition! At SpiritHorse this past year, the 70th child spoke their first word, the 49th child took their first steps to their pony, and the 35th child sat up for the first time at the last session in Corinth. It is amazing work which he is training others to do and duplicating at centers like ours, which is the 38th SpiritHorse center worldwide!
I appreciate the beauty of my Willow Tree collection that depicts our life and look forward to seeing and having more in the future! I didn't know about the one with the horse as our stores don't have the full collection! I can hardly wait to get it!! I also love giving them as gifts. I always get a wonderful response! I love horses and Willow Tree products. One of my boarder's horses died last spring and was cremated. I purchased the Quiet Moments Treasure Box for her horse's ashes. It didn't hold all of the ashes but it definitely held enough that she can keep her horse's ashes close to her beside.
I also purchase the Quiet Moments Plaques for gifts for my boarders on their special occasions. Wonderful.
