I recieved my "Thank You Angel" from a music director/church lady from Luthern Church of the Master in Brooklyn Center. Her name is Diane. I am new to the church and wanted to help out in the Christmas celebration. My daughter was a dancer. She let me help and gave me this wonderful gift. I was honored. It made me feel comfortable and I was very greatful. I also met a wonderful lady named Barb, and many more beautiful people. My angel is precious to me.
In 2003, I lost my baby to a stillbirth; the nurses in the hospital were so helpful and caring! I had three nurses throughout my hospital stay, and they were just so wonderful to me. I even had one nurse stay with me until my baby was delivered. I wanted to express to them how thankful I was for their support during this tragic event in my life. This was the perfect way to let them know how grateful I was for them. I love Willow Tree line and how the merchandise is a way to help people truly express their feelings to others!
In Sept. 2003, I lost my baby who was a stillborn. I got this figurine for the grief counselor who was a total blessing through my tragic loss. It takes someone really special and with a big heart to be able to do her job to help others cope with loss and to be so supportive. This was the perfect gift to give her to express my gratitude for her being there for me in my time of need!
I was diagnosed with a cervical ectopic pregnancy 11/8/2010. The ultrasound tech that broke the news to me was a true blessing. She was so compassionate and just held me until I was done crying and could catch my breath. ♥ I purchased this beautiful and very sentimental figurine for her, to remind her how much her kindness meant to me during my loss. Thank you for creating this!
My first Willow Tree (Thank You) was given to me by my cheerleaders as a gift of thanks. My second figurine was given to me by a very tearful group of cheerleaders two weeks after my 32-year-old son died in a motorcycle accident. It is the Mother and Son figurine. All I could do was sob. These teen-age girls found something that encompassed a mother's love for her son at a time my heart was broken and it showed me their love. These two figurines sit in a very prominent place in my home and each time I pass them I am reminded that love comes from many different walks of life. None is less important than the other. Susan Lordi has captured love in each of her collection pieces. Now Willow Tree figurines are my gift of choice to a daughter, a student aide, a friend, or me whenever an expression of love is needed and words aren't enough.
I found Willow Tree a year ago. I started collecting figurines and angels that were so personal to my family and home.
Thank you is not only the spitting image of my daughter but it shows her spirit of shyness, giving and love. She looked just like this at our second wedding holding almost the same colored flowers in her hands. Shes my little angel of thanks.
