Two Together

Love in abundance

Having separate pieces allows viewers to position the babies to reflect their children's individual personalities. The openness of the title and the sentiment, 'Love in abundance' suggests twins, but the piece would also work for cousins, or a gift for grandparents of two grandchildren born at about the same time.

I gave birth to identical twin girls in March 2011, A few weeks ago one passed, This is the hardest thing I have ever dealt with in my life,
My step mom had given me A Tree, A Prayer, This made me fall in love with Willow Tree, and seeing Two Together let me find peace. No matter where my girls are there will always be a bond. I have a few now, and since have started a collection. My newest addition was Two Alike. Thank you for this smile  :)

Some years ago my husband and I were on holiday. I saw the figurine with two people and I bought it for our wedding day.
After a while I found a store in my own town which have these nice things, and I bought myself the Angel of Freedom.
Perhaps a year later I was visiting my half sister, who I met when we both had grown up. I got a present from her. The present was the Angel of Love. We had not met for several years, and the gift filled my heart. Later I bought a present for a friend who had a baby. I had to buy two babies in one box, and I only gave one baby to my friend and keep the other for myself.
My husband and I have been married for a long time and I wish us to be old together, so I bought the old man and wife.
Today I got a gift from my daughter, a birthday present, the Angel of Caring. She said that I should read the text in the paper because that was me. I was so happy. Then she asked if she could ask me a question about the baby piece, and I said of course. Is the baby my little sister who was dead when she was born, she asked. I had never thought in this way, but it got me to thinking.
When I look at all my pieces I feel very calm, and they give me so much good energy.
With love

In May 2009 I gave birth to two precious baby boys. They were born too soon and did not make it. Losing them has been the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. I still miss them very much. About three weeks after their birth a friend sent me the Angel of Remembrance. I have cherished it sitting in my living room reminding me there are two precious angels waiting for me in Heaven. I recently added Two Together to sit with my angel. They are adorable and a great figurine to remember my babies. I now want to start a Willow Tree collection and have picked out many pieces I will add in the future. Willow Tree figurines are beautiful and are a great way to celebrate special memories! I recently lost my twins when I was five months pregnant. When my daughter was born she had her fingers in her mouth, just like one of the Willow Tree twins. My husband purchased this for me for Christmas and I put each of them next to each of their ashes. They are truly beautiful.

The love of my life took me to see some of Susan's work and the first piece I made any comment about was "Two Together."
It reminded me of the intimacy and love we share each and every day. I turned to Rachel and said, "This reminds me so much of you and me." Little did I suspect she had already purchased the piece as a Chistmas gift.

"Two Together" now sits proudly displayed on my desk in my home office. When I look at it, I am reminded of what the future holds for us.

I purchased this Willow tree for my 13 year old daughter. She anxiously waited 10 years for sibling and when we were finally blessed with a baby girl she would hold her just like this cuddle her for hours. When I gave it to her, she cried and agreed it could not be more perfect. This piece is paired with "Promise" to symbolize my husband and I, and "Two Together" for the boy/girl twins who quickly rounded out our very full family now!! These pieces are very special to my family and I can't help but smile every time i come home and see them. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful and amazing gift!

I started collecting Willow Tree Angels approximately 10 years ago. I have a few pieces that have great meaning to me.  But none more that the Two Together. After 16 years of Marriage and 6 miscarriages, I learned that once again, I was pregnant. Only this time it was twins!!! After a very long and difficult pregancy I delivered our girls 4 weeks early. Today they are happy, healthy 5 year olds. I've always wanted a " twin figurine" and was estatic when I saw it in the store! It now sits in a place of honor in my home ( along with the others.)  Thank you very much for making these beautiful & very spirtitual figurines. They have helped me through some very difficult times in my life & I hope to pass my love of these to my girls.

My two older sons presented me with Quietly for my birthday in 2006. It captured them perfectly - a nine year old and a 1 year old. Later, when I found out I was having twins, I began looking at Willow Tree to see if you had figurines depicting multiples. I found retired items, but nothing available at that time. As their birth date neared & then once they were born, I was so busy I forgot about the figurines. Then one day, several months after my twin boys were born (yes, I now have 4 boys!) I was walking through the mall and spotted Two Together. I snatched it up & bought it right then! It really looked like my babies! One of them had torticollis, thus his head was always cocked to one side just like one of the figurines; the other one loved to clap his hands. If I didn't know any better, I'd think Susan Lordi used my boys as models!! Now my beautiful blessings are in preschool. We are going to get each of their teachers a Willow Tree figurine as a thank you for all they've done this year. And thank you Susan for creating these beautiful expressions of love & emotion for us to share & enjoy.

My husband gave me "Two Together" for Christmas 2009.  The very next day, December 26th, our twins were born three months early. They were in the hospital NICU for 11 weeks. During that difficult time, "Two Together" was prominently displayed in our home to remind us our twins would one day be off all their tubes and monitors and be sitting up together like the figures. Now our twins are home and doing great! Today was their actual due date!
Thank you for capturing emotions and inspiration for all occasions! I love collecting this wonderful art!

A few years ago, I had twin boys who died shortly after their birth. My sister got me Two Together before they died. Though they are not in this world, they are still in my heart. And the figure reminds me of them every day.
