After 21 years my wife and I have remained childless with the exception of our two cats and dog. Max was a very special kitty. He was found abandoned at about 5 weeks old, with his sister. He was a Manx/Main Coon mix and had physical challenges. He was costly to attend to between special foods, medications, and a surgery; yet he was priceless and the object of my wife's motherly instincts. They had a truly special bond.

In 2011 my wife had to have surgery herself and was recovering when it was discovered that Max had developed kidney disease. Knowing he had been through so much and loving him too much to let him suffer further, we decided to put him to sleep. Oh how my wife grieved, at times inconsolably.

When on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC we visited a store that had your products. She saw "Affection" (angel holding a cat) as a Christmas ornament. She also found the other with the girl holding her cat ("Kindness")as a small figurine which she purchased. She really wanted Affection as a figurine too as just the sight of it comforted her but it was not to be found.

Just yesterday at our local Cracker Barrel, where we first became acquainted with your work, there was one on display! We purchased it and today it has joined the Kindness figure in flanking a picture of our beloved Max.
